Loan IRR Calculator

Effective 21 October 2026 · App: Loan IRR Calculator - Banking Calculator (com.calculator.loanscheme) · Developer: Ankush Shewale

In short: the app is a calculator, not a lender. Your deals, client names and figures stay on your phone and are never sent to us. Ads are shown by Google AdMob. Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports are collected only if you accept them, and you can switch them off in Settings.

1. Who we are

The app is published by Ankush Shewale ("we"). Contact for anything about privacy: loanirrcalculator@gmail.com.

2. What the app does

Loan IRR Calculator works out yields and schedules from numbers you type in. It does not lend money, take applications or connect to any bank. We do not run a server that receives your calculations. We do not ask you to create an account.

3. Data that stays on your phone

Saved deals, client and asset names, amounts, rates, your settings and your consent choice are stored only on your device. We cannot see them. Reports you export (PDF or Excel) are created on your phone and go only where you choose to share them. The app does not ask for access to your files, photos, contacts, location or phone number.

Premium users can add a company name, a contact line and a logo to their reports. These are stored only on your phone, you choose the logo with Android's photo picker (the app gets only the picture you pick), and they appear only in the reports you create.

The free version allows a limited number of PDF or Excel reports each calendar month. To count them, the app keeps a small counter on your phone: the current month and an anonymous code for each report you exported (made from the report's contents, so the code cannot be turned back into your figures or names). Because it is only a counter, it contains no deal data, client names or amounts.

4. Data collected by services the app uses

Google AdMob (ads, free version)

What it does
Shows banner and full-screen ads; fraud prevention and ad measurement
Data
Advertising ID, app set ID, IP address (approximate location), app interactions such as launches and ad views, diagnostics
Your choice
In the EEA, UK and similar regions you choose in Google's consent form. Premium removes ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings > Google > Ads.

Google Analytics for Firebase

What it does
Anonymous statistics on which features are used
Data
Named events such as "calculation done" or "report exported" with simple labels, and a Firebase installation ID. Never loan amounts, rates, names or deal contents. It does not use your advertising ID.
Your choice
Off until you accept on the first-run screen. Switch off any time in Settings > Privacy & data.

Firebase Crashlytics

What it does
Finds and fixes crashes
Data
Crash stack traces, device model, Android version, app version, installation ID. No deal data.
Your choice
Off until you accept. Switch off any time in Settings > Privacy & data.

Firebase Cloud Messaging

What it does
Delivers notifications (announcements, tips, offers)
Data
Firebase installation ID and the notification topics you have on
Your choice
Choose the categories, or turn them off, in Settings; you can also block notifications in Android.

Google Play Billing (Premium)

What it does
Handles subscriptions
Data
Google processes payment. We never see your card or bank details. Google tells the app whether you have an active subscription. Google also shares aggregate purchase and crash statistics from Google Play with our Firebase project; these are not tied to your deals or client names.
Your choice
Manage or cancel in Google Play > Subscriptions.

Google Drive backup (Premium)

What it does
Saves a copy of your deals so you can restore them on a new phone
Data
A backup file of your deals (including client names and loan figures) in a hidden app folder in your own Google Drive, using the drive.appdata permission. We cannot see or open it, and it goes nowhere else.
Your choice
Only after you sign in and start a backup (or switch on the weekly automatic backup). You can stop any time.

These services are run by Google and have their own policies: Google Privacy Policy, Firebase privacy information. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for anything other than the purposes above.

5. Consent

On first launch you are asked whether to allow anonymous usage statistics and crash reports. Declining is fine: the app works the same. Where the law requires it, Google's consent form for ads is shown after that. You can change your choices in Settings > Privacy & data.

6. How long data is kept

Data on your phone stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. Analytics and crash data are kept by Google for the periods set in our Firebase project (analytics up to 14 months). Your Drive backup stays in your Drive until you delete it. Advertising data is kept by Google under its own policy.

7. Deleting your data

8. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, where it applies, the EU/UK GDPR, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, and complain to a data protection authority. Email us and we will reply within 30 days.

9. Children

The app is not meant for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Security

Data sent to Google services travels over encrypted connections. Your deals are kept in the app's private storage on your phone. Android's automatic backup is limited to the small free-report counter described in section 3: your deals, names, amounts and settings are not part of it. That counter is saved in your own Google backup so a reinstall does not reset your monthly allowance, and you can delete it in Android Settings > Google > Backup.

11. Changes

If this policy changes, we update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
